Hey guys, how you doin’?
OK… So I know its been nine days since my last post and I promised I would post every day for 4 days, but I’ve been traveling, going on 14-hour flights and I’m jet-lagged. Anyway if I keep apologizing for what I did I will be procrastinating even more, so let’s all just forgive and forget
(BTW skip the 4 paragraphs below if you have read part 1,2 and 3).
I know it has been a long time since I’ve posted anything, but it’s my summer vacation and I’ve been out having fun, eating, sleeping and binge-watching shows (by the way a good show to binge on is The Good Place). So, to make up for the lack of posts I am making a four part post where I post about planning a party everyday for four days straight.
Throwing a party can be quite stressful and hard. So I have put together a full proof way for your party to be a big hit and for you to be less stressed planning it.
A great party is made up of 4 components, Food, Games, Music, and Decorations. FYI these tips only apply for a planned party, casual parties don’t need planning they just require music, chips, drinks, pizza, chairs, and people. (Fact: This is my favourite type of party to plan and come to).
I have already finished part one on food and part two on games in this series so don’t forget to go check that out.
Decor
Now when I say decor I don’t mean banners and all the most Tumblr type of decorations that’s not me, but you do you boo. What I mean is really just furniture and how to arrange it, but if I said furniture as one of the four components it would sound weird.
When you’re at a party you want space to move around, have fun and dance. So if you have any extra furniture that you do not need at the party move it outside and vice versa you’re having your party inside.
Next up seating areas. At the beginning and the end of a party, most people like to sit down, so make sure you have ample seating areas ready. You can use anything from stools to chairs, just make sure that your furniture is light in case you want to move it around or out during the party.
Lastly is protection. To avoid stains lay down plastic bags, garbage bags, and plastic tarps to prevent future drinks staining your furniture. You can skip this step if you own leather furniture. And remember always use protection, on your furniture.
So that is part 4 of the four part series on party planning. If you haven’t already I recommend you read the part 1, 2 and 3. I hoped you enjoyed reading this post and I hope you will like the next one.
Vale (that means bye in Latin).
